Much of our work is highly interdisciplinary, involving synthetic and physical organic chemistry, coordination and supramolecular chemistry, photophysics, mass spectrometry, and X-ray single crystal structure diffractometry, and biology, to name a few fields. The application of our porphyrinoids in sensing, catalysis, or photobiology also takes place with the help of numerous intra- and extramural collaborations, past and present.
